If they have good ones - like I know I have 2 or 3 with stellar quirks on them already - I will keep those around. I will go through my heroes and see what their positive quirks are. Awesome, thank you! I guess I just need to get less attached to my heroes. Take an ambush preventing camping skill and hopefully 1 or 2 other strong camp skills (like + scouting or the man at arms' party buff) and long runs aren't particularly challenging at novice. Ideally you want to be regularly doing long novice (green) quests a fair bit, as they usually offer decent trinkets and loot. By exploring the regions well (get all the skull numbers higher) but keeping your roster level low you get a lot of green quests to choose from, which is what you want. The average level of your roster is what affects the colour of the quests you're offered, so if you only have a handful of level 3 heroes you'll still get mostly green quests offered to you. It doesn't affect the difficulty (colour) of the quests you get other than that. Also you won't get quests longer than short until you increase it past 1. The number with the skull is the extent to which you've explored the region, and controls the number of quests you can get in that region, and whether or not you can reach the bosses. Will the dungeons stop changing colors if you do that? Or is it based on the number with the skull? This allows you to keep key classes and good quirks, while not having to hit veteran dungeons until you're properly skilled and equipped.
